Come pan for gold off the beach from from the Fraser River. This is a nugget found on the beach front of Big Foot B&B. Panning supplies provided.
Trains in the Fraser Canyon are part of what makes the region so unique and leads to so much of the history of the area. They still play an integral role in transporting goods through our province and across the nation. Train whistles are employed at crossings and can be heard throughout the day and evening. Should you not grow accustomed to the whistles ear plugs are available.
There is a train crossing at our street and goes by approx. every hr. They do blow their horns and can be heard. The train takes 3 min to go by.
Come sit by the fire and watch the river flow by. The sounds of the birds and wildlife will calm your soul. You can see various wildlife across the river come down for a drink. At night have a small fire and sit on the daybed surrounded by nature and the stars. Soak in the calmness of the surroundings and leave feeling refreshed.
